Insomnia and Young Art Records present Tokimonsta at the 1720 Warehouse on Saturday, Oct. 1 in Los Angeles. Tokimonsta will be performing a six-hour show with a special guest, yet to be announced, in the iconic LA venue.
LA-based DJ and record producer, Tokimonsta, is heading on tour this fall with nine dates across the U.S. The Unseen Forest Tour includes a special appearance at the two-day festival High Ground Music and Arts Experience in Sedalia, Colorado. On Oct.1 Tokimonsta will be back in Los Angeles for a special concert at the 1720 warehouse to perform her Unseen Forest set alongside a mysterious special guest. Tokimonsta will also be performing for the NFL Season Kickoff Concert with reggaeton artist J Balvin, Earthgang and VanJess on Thursday, Sept. 8 at the Alamitos Beach in Long Beach, California.
The Grammy nominated artist is currently performing at Burning Man on Sept. 1 with three completely different DJ sets. Tokimonsta has helped define the sound of modern dance and beat music with her innovative electronic sound and futuristic melodies. Tokimonsta has worked with the biggest names in the music industry and has been praised for her genre-bending melodies mixing, R&B, soul, house beats and many more groundbreaking sounds.
In 2017, Tokimonsta made history earning a Grammy nomination for “Best Electronic/Dance Album,” for her album Lune Rouge, becoming the first Asian-American producer to earn a nomination for the award. In August 2022, Tokimonsta surprised fans by announcing the Unseen Forest Tour via social media. The tour ranges from September to October 2022 often in warehouse-styled nightclubs and downtown venues.
