Social Distortion added two new dates to their United States 2022 tour on Dec. 11 at the House of Blues in Anaheim and a fourth show at The Belasco on Wednesday, Dec. 28.
Social Distortion is set to begin their U.S. 2022 tour this November, following a series of shows at the Outlaw Country West, a five-day cruise country rock festival from LA to Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada, Mexico. This new festival features multiple performances from Social Distortion, Lucinda Williams, Los Lobos, Long Ryders and many more as well as live recording of Sirius XM’s Outlaw Country.
The punk rock band is set to begin their tour at the Guild Theatre on Nov.18 followed by a series of shows throughout California, Arizona and Nevada. Recently, their 18-date tour has expanded with two new dates including a third show at the House of Blues in Anaheim on Dec. 11 and a fourth show at The Belasco on Dec. 28.
Social Distortion form in 1978 in Fullerton, California. In the mid-1980s the group took a temporary hiatus due to frontman Mike Ness’ drug addiction. The band returned a few years later and shifted its style from punk rock to a more country and blues rock influence. The band is often referred to as one of the most influential punk rock bands for their hardcore energy. The group has released seven studio albums and have spent nearly a decade working on their eighth studio album.
Fresh off their European 2022 tour, Social Distortion celebrating their cowpunk sound by participating in the Outlaw Country West cruise festival. Once back on land, Social Distortion will begin their U.S. 2022 tour with 16 dates in California.
