Lupe Fiasco Celebrating 15 Years Of ‘The Cool’ At The Novo On Oct. 1

Grammy Award-winning rapper Lupe Fiasco will be celebrating 15 years of The Cool with a five-date tour including a show at The Novo on Saturday, Oct. 1.

Chicago hip hop artist Lupe Fiasco has announced five shows in honor of the 15th anniversary of his second studio album, The Cool. The short tour begins Sept. 7 in New York, followed by a Sept. 9 show in Washington, D.C, a Sept. 11 show in Boston, a Sept. 30 show in San Francisco closing out with a Oct. 1 show in Los Angeles. Fiasco will be performing the entire album from beginning to end on all five shows.

Lupe Fiasco gained national attention with his 2006 album Food and Liquor, an album that launched a new wave of Chicago rappers. Fiasco has been noted as a musical genius for his ingenuity, creative projects and achievements. Fiasco is the co-founder of community initiatives such as We are M.U.R.A.L, The Neighborhood Start-Up, Society of Spoken Art and more.

Fiasco has released eight acclaimed studio albums; his latest being Drill Music In Zion released in June 2022. The musician and entrepreneur is most recognized for his hit songs “The Show Goes On,” “Kick, Push,” “Sueprstar” and many more.
