Electronic producer and DJ, Lane 8, is currently touring in support of his latest and fourth studio album, Reviver. The album was released via Lane 8’s own record label, This Never Happened. In 2016, Lane 8 began the This Never Happened live show concept prohibiting guests from recording the shows with cellphones or cameras. The LA State Historic Park show is a This Never Happened event, meaning that there will be strict policies implemented to prevent guests from recording the show to encourage attendees to fully engage in the experience. Lane 8’s official website includes the statement, “experience the moment don’t record it, this never happened.”
Lane 8 formed the This Never Happened label to build an independent presence in the deep house genre. He has become known as a remix master and is beloved by many for his wide range of genres and melodies. His live performances became well known not only for the strict no recording policies, but also for generally being early day time shows in unique outdoor venues.
