For the first time in over a decade, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss embarked on their first international tour together. The Raising The Roof Tour is heading west this August with shows in California including a show on Aug. 18 at the Greek Theatre.
Following the first leg of their tour across the eastern half of the U.S., Plant and Krauss are now heading west from mid-August to early September. The duo will perform sets of full music from both their 2021 chart-topping album, Raise The Roof, and their five time Grammy Award-winning 2007 album, Raising Sand. The duo is celebrating nearly 15 years since their partnership began by heading on a tour together for the first time in 13 years.
The rock legend and Led Zeppelin frontman, Robert Plant, joined forces with bluegrass-country singer, Alison Krauss. In 2007, Plant and Krauss shocked the world with a collaborative album titled Rising Sand. The album earned the duo five Grammy Awards. The duo bonded over their love for different genres of music and Plant admired Krauss’ vocals and live performances.
In 2021, the duo released Raise the Roof, a sequel album to Raising Sand. The album debuted Top 10 on the Billboard 200 and reached No.1 on several charts. The album has also received critical acclaim from The New Yok times, New Yorker, Vanity Fair and more.
