Kendrick Lamar At The Crypto.com Arena on September 14-17

Kendrick Lamar is set to embark on The Big Steppers 2022 Tour starting on July 19 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The first leg of the tour is set to end in Los Angeles, California and due to high demand, Lamar has added two more Los Angeles shows at the Crypto.com Arena for a total of four consecutive shows from September 14 through September 17.

The Big Steppers 2022 Tour is in support of Lamar’s latest album Mr. Morale and The Big Steppers. The album came as a surprise for fans being his fifth full studio album and first release in five years. The album was announced in April 2022 by Lamar via Twitter. Lamar will be joined by pgLang artists Baby Keem and Tanna Leone for guest appearances throughout the tour.

Lamar is often recognized as one of the most influential rappers of his generation. Raised in Compton, California, Lamar gained popularity in 2011 with the release of Section.80. Though Lamar collaborated with major artists and topped several music charts, he truly sky-rocketed to fame with the release of his fourth studio album, DAMN, which features hit songs such as “DNA,” “Loyalty,” “Humble” and more.

Lamar took part in the Super Bowl LVI halftime show on February 13, 2022, alongside legendary hip-hop artists Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige and Anderson Paak. Lamar has been referred to as one of the deepest, most musical and a lyrical genius by various major publications. The rapper has earned 14 Grammy Awards and is often praised for his social commentary and impactful lyricism. Lamar has touched on major topics such as police brutality, racism, mental health and much more.
