The rock duo, Best Coast, is back in Los Angeles for two special shows at the Ford Theatre on August 12 and 13. The two Los Angeles shows are in celebration of the anniversaries of Crazy for You and The Only Place, both albums will be performed in their entireties at the Ford Theatre.
Following the end of their North American 2022 Finally Tomorrow Tour, Best Coast announced two celebratory shows in honor of their first two albums. Best Coast’s debut album Crazy for You celebrates 12 years of success, their second album The Only Place turns 10 this year. The first night at the Ford Theatre will honor Crazy for You with a full walk through of the album and a few surprises. Saturday, August 13 will focus on celebrating The Only Place with a full performance of the album and more.
The surf indie rock duo consists of guitarist and vocalist Bethany Cosentino and multi-instrumentalist Bobb Bruno. The band debuted with their commercially successful album Crazy for You in 2010. Their most recent and fourth studio album, Always Tomorrow, was released in February 2020. They’re unique sound is inspired by 1960s surf rock and a mixture of lo-fi and punk rock.
Earlier this year, the duo celebrated their fourth album with a 25-date North American tour. The band donated $1 of every ticket sold to the Trevor Project, a nonprofit that provides mental health assistance for the LGBTQ+ community.
Best Coast will take part in San Francisco’s Outside Lands with a night show on Saturday, August 6. Don’t miss a special celebratory weekend with Best Coast at the Ford Theatre on Friday, August 12 and Saturday, August 13. Tickets are available on Theford.com.
