Electro-Rock band The Big Pink has released their latest single “Love Spins On Its Axis” featuring the British duo Dust In The Sunlight. The catchy tune is the perfect upbeat 80’s indie-pop rock summer jam to belt out with friends.“‘Love Spins On Its Axis’ is probably the most hopeful song I’ve ever written,” Robbie Furzee said about the song. “It was from the depths of that darkness that I had this moment of perfect clarity and calm. I started questioning ‘what’s most important on this journey that I am on?’ It’s Love.”
The band also released its music video, showing the band rocking out to the song with a car filled with neon lights. Check out the fun song and video below.
The song follows their previously released song “No Angels,” which was their first newly released song in 5 years. At the time of its release, Furzee spoke about the long-awaited song, saying “it was a reflecting that moment when you understand that all you’ve set your sights on has led to a place far away from where you should be and everything you truly love.” A new album has not been announced by the band but seems promising with their latest releases. In 2017, the band released “How Far We’ve Come” featuring Ioanna Gika of IO Echo and Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
