Korn’s Brian ‘Head’ Welch Says Jonathan Davis Is “Finally Happy In Life”

Korn frontman Jonathan Davis is the happiest he has been in a while. His bandmate Brian “Head” Welch recently stated that Davis is “finally happy,” but will not affect their music at all. Noted throughout time, fans compare most bands and solo musicians’ albums with their best works. Throughout each era, musicians may be influenced by certain situations, journey and experiences which influences the music they create. Korn fans will not need to worry about this.

In a recent interview with The Haunted guitarist Ola Englund, Korn’s own James “Munky” Shaffer spoke about the topic. He noted that musicians don’t have to feel angry when creating music within the heavy metal genre. “Every day there’s something to draw inspiration on, whether it’s your own personal stuff or something from the past,” Munky said. “Or just create a vibe and an atmosphere and let Jonathan’s lyrics kind of set the stage for him.” Shaffer went on to speak about Davis’ reaction when speaking about te band’s music in the future. “We did a thing in London the other night, and Jonathan was, like, ‘I’m finally happy in life,’ ’cause he just got into a place of peace. And I go, ‘So does that mean Korn records are gonnna suck now?'” Head added with a laugh. ”

While a new album has not been on the cards yet, the band released their latest LP Requiem in March. In support of the album, the band will be headlining couple of festivals and some co-headlining shows with Evanescence.
