Due to unforeseen circumstances, Bauhaus officially canceled their Tempe, Arizona show but have added a Los Angles date. Bauhaus will be returning to Los Angeles for a show at The Greek Theatre on Thursday, September 29th.
Earlier this year, the Bauhaus released their first new song in 14 years, “Drink the New Wine.” The song was followed by two special performances at the Cruel World Festival in Pasadena, California. The Bauhaus begin the second leg of their tour on August 19th at the 02 Academy in London and is set to conclude in Los Angeles on September 29th.
The English rock band, Bauhaus, is composed of vocalist Peter Murphy, guitarist Daniel Ash, drummer and keyboardist Kevin Haskins and bassist as well as percussionist David J. The band is considered as one of the goth rock pioneers and are known for their dark imagery and gloomy sound. Their debut album, In The Flat Field, is considered the first gothic rock record. The band broke up in 1983 a week before the release of their fourth studio album, Burning from the Inside.
In 1998, Bauhaus reunited for the Resurrection Tour and released a live album, Gotham. In 2005, the band once again reunited for a special performance at Coachella Festival which was followed by a full North American and European tour. In 2008, Bauhaus released their first new album since 1983, Go Away White (Cooking Vinyl), followed by the split of the band. In 2019, the band reunited for three sold out shows at the Hollywood Palladium.
