Hailing all the way from Australia, pop-punk band 5 Seconds of Summer has begun their ‘Take My Hand: World Tour’ from now through December, with an upcoming concert in New York, NY at Pier 17, with special guest Pale Waves.
5 Seconds of Summer is an iconic punk band from Sydney, Australia that formed in 2011. The members are lead vocalist and guitarist Luke Hemmings, bassist Calum Hood, guitarist Michael Clifford, and drummer Ashton Irwin. The band rose to fame when they toured with boy band One Direction during the boy band’s ‘Take Me Home’ tour. The band has had 3 number one albums in Australia, and has sold over 5 million copies of one of their biggest hits, ‘Youngblood.’ Another one of their singles, ‘She Looks So Perfect,’ topped charts in four countries. The band has announced they will be releasing a new album titled ‘5SOS5’ in September 2022.
