Florence and the Machine has released their latest album, Dance Fever. Following the release of their new record, the band is set to tour across the world in support of the album. The Dance Fever Tour includes two consecutive dates at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California on October 14th and 15th.
The band’s fifth studio album, Dance Fever, was recently released and debuted at No. 1 in the UK and No.2 in Australia. This is the first album in four years, following the band’s fourth studio album High as Hope. Following a series of teasing, such as letters and billboard displays, the band has finally gifted fans new music.
The indie rock band was formed in London in 2007, consisting of vocalist Florence Welch, keyboardist Isabella Summers, guitarist Rob Ackroyd, and harpist Tom Monger. Though the lineup has changed over the years, the band is still recognized for its eccentric and dramatic production. Welch’s powerful vocals certainly add on to the band’s unconventional sound, making them one of the biggest acts in the world.
Their music has been heard in various soundtracks for films and television such as Jennifer’s Body, The Twilight Saga, Wild Child, Community, 90210,and more. Earlier this year, the group announced their grand return to the stage for live performances with a series of headlining shows at summer music festivals. Following their summer shows is their fall Dance Fever Tour, set to being on September 2nd and end on November 30th.
