Dead Can Dance Announce Spring 2023 North American Tour Dates

The British and Australian alternative duo Dead Can Dance has officially announced their tour dates for Spring of 2023. The North American tour is set to cover areas in both the United States and Canada.

In the upcoming tour, the duo’s Lisa Gerrard and Brendan Perry will perform alongside a full backing band, playing music from all eras of their 3 decade career, beginning with their debut in 1981. The tour will be the first one that Dead Can Dance have performed in North America in roughly a decade, with their last concert on the continent being a 2013 Coachella performance.

The tour will kick off off with a show at The Orpheum in Vancouver, Canada on March 24. The band will proceed to give various shows in the United States, starting with a show in Seattle, Washington on March 26, going on to hit such areas as Los Angeles, Portland, San Francisco, Denver, San Diego, Minneapolis, Salt Lake City, and others. After delivering a show in Toronto, Boston, New York City, Pittsburgh and Washington DC, the Dead Can Dance’s trek around the continent will conclude with a show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dead Can Dance had previously planned to play this tour in October of 2021, but ended up rescheduling again. Members of the band Lisa Gerrard And Jules Maxwell have previously released single titled “Noyalain (Burn).”
