Lupe Fiasco, the Grammy award-winning artist, has announced a new album Drill Music in Zion in addition to the lead single, “AutoBoto”. The full album is set to release on June 24 via 1st &5th Thirty Tigers.
“Soundtrakk [a recent album] is the swordmaker, I’m the samurai,” says Lupe. “He’s the mechanic, and I’m the driver.”
“Armed with Soundtrakk’s soulful sounds, Lupe creates a focused statement that reflects on the past and paves a way forward, preaching strength through mindfulness and a self-sustaining community,” the press release notes.
Lupe has also announced his own spin on NFT’s with LFT. The LFTs allow purchasers to have their artwork exist outside the digital pace, and of course, it is all designed around Lupe Fiasco’s career and specifically his album The Cool.
