The Hollywood Bowl is celebrating its first 100 years with an incomparable lineup which features Gwen Stefani, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Youth Orchestra Los Angles, the UCLA Bruin Marching Band, and many more. Extraordinary musicians will be paying tribute to LA’s summer home for music, the Hollywood Bowl, on Friday, June 3rd.
Opening night at the bowl is set to be a major celebration this year with performances by Gwen Stefani, Gustavo Dudamel and Los Angeles Philharmonic, the UCLA Bruin Marching Band, the USC Trojan Marching Band, and much more. The solo artist and frontwoman of No Doubt, Gwen Stefani is a three-time Grammy Award-winning artist. The California icon will be joined on stage by one of the world’s greatest orchestras, the Los Angeles Philharmonic and conductor Gustavo Dudamel.
Dudamel and the LA Phil are set to open the evening with the world premiere of a special song written by John Williams to commemorate the Bowl’s centennial. LA Phil will pay homage to the Bowl’s history with Broadway and symphonic music. There will be dancer such as Novena Carmel with Let It Happen and a special appearance from Italian ballet star Roberto Bolle and Tiler Peck. There will also be performances by Youth Orchestra Los Angeles, violinist Maria Dueñas, the first-time joint performance by the UCLA Bruins and USC Trojan marching bands, and more. To top it all off the night sky will be illuminated by fireworks!
