The Berlin rock legends, Rammstein hosted several listening parties around the world for their upcoming album Zeit. The band hosted three listening parties in Southern California theaters on Thursday, April 28th, a day before the release of the album.
Rammstein fans were treated to the opportunity to listen to the full album, Zeit, before its official release. Fans gathered in theaters such as the Galaxy Theater of Mission Grove, Harkins in Cerritos and the Regal Irvine Spectrum to listen to all new eleven tracks in Dolby Atmos sound format. A fully blasting surround sound, was the absolute best way to experience Zeit, props to Rammstein for their Zeit: The Atmost Experience pre-listening party, because it was definitely an experience.
Rammstein is a German hard rock band, infamously known for pushing the limit during their live performances and their controversial lyrics, particularly their sexually explicit lyrics. Nevertheless, Rammstein has been quite successful earning No.1 spots and gold certifications across the world.
Zeitwill be released exactly three years after their untitled multi-platinum album, which launched the band to the top of 14 international charts in 2019. After a long period of teasing through social media, Zeit is finally here. And what better way to enjoy a smacking hard rock album than in a theater full of fans with a fully blasting Dolby Atmos surround sound system.
As fans quickly approached their seats, the lights dimmed. As the theater went completely dark, a warning sign appeared on the screen advising guests not to record any of the footage due to copyrights. As the opening track “Armee Der Tristen” began to play, the crowd excitedly cheered as synchronized wave sound visuals filled the screen. Fans began to sing along during the title track “Zeit,” some even gasping during the explicit images of the music video. The emotional ballad reminds everyone of our mortalities and our never-ending battle against time.
Fans very well enjoyed the thought-provoking music video for “Zick Zack.” The German band appeared in full make-up mimicking cosmetic surgery, a video which has a fair resemblance to The Weekend’s “Save Your Tears,” except Rammstein pushes the limit with an odd depiction of frontman Till Lindemann botching his face mid-performance. Fans were also treated to a preview of the music video for “Angst” a hard-hitting track that had everyone astonished.
Rammstein is set to celebrate the premiere of their 8th studio album, Zeit, with European and North American tours in the Spring and Summer of 2022. Zeit is officially out tomorrow, April 29th through Universal Music.
