Wu-Tang Clan and Nas recently announced a co-headlining tour titled NY State Of Mind Tour. The tour consists of 25 dates across popular U.S. cities starting August 30th at St. Louis, Missouri and ends on October 4th in Los Angeles, California.
Wu-Tang Clan was founded in the early 1990s in New York City’s Staten Island by members RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, U-God, Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck, Cappadonna, and the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard. The group quickly became icons, not only in hip hop but also for their cultural influence. They’re considered one of the greatest hip hop groups of all time, celebrating each members lyrical contributions and uniqueness.
Nas, also rooted in the New York hip hop scene, is known for his rhymes and debut hit album Illmatic. Nas is known for hit songs such as “If I Ruled The World,” “You Won’t See Me Tonight” and more. In 2021, Nas won his first GRAMMY Award for “Best Rap Album” for his 2020 album King’s Disease.
Now, some of the major East Coast hip hop stars are joining forces for a legendary U.S. tour. The NY State of Mind Tour ends in California with four dates across the state including Irvine on September 30th and concluding in Los Angeles on October 4th.
