The talented Mac Demarco recently announced a fall North American tour. The Canadian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist will bring his treasured live performances to cities, including Dallas, Austin and Chicago!
Regarding his North American tour, DeMarco states, “I’ve been driving around North America for the last couple months in my Toyota, making five easy hot dogs. I’ve been to a lot of new places, a lot of old ones. Seen a lot of old friends, made some new ones too. Keep your eyes peeled, maybe I’ll pop up in your zone soon.” Check out the tour dates and locations below.
As busy as he is, the adored singer is also planning to bring his artists to the top with him. The newly announced dates follow an abundance of California shows with support from Vicky Farewell, who is the newest signee to DeMarco’s label, Mac’s Record Label. Since starting his label with the release of 2019’s Here Comes The Cowboy, Mac focused his attention on releasing projects from new artists. One of the label’s signees includes Australia’s Tex Crick, whose album, Live In… New York City, was released in 2021. Now, before she joins DeMarco on his tour, Vicky Farewell’s debut album, Sweet Company, was released on April 8.
Later this month, DeMarco will join The Strokes at New York’s Barclays Center after it was postponed due to the Omicron surge around New Year’s. before going on a brief international run and select festivals, including the Day In Day Out Festival that takes place at Fisher Green Pavilion in Seattle, WA from August 12-14. DeMarco will be headlining on Saturday.
