San Francisco punk rock legends Flipper have announced their spring U.S. tour for 2022 which kicks off at the Roxy on April 25th. Flipper will be accompanied by Fletcher Shears of The Garden and Puzzle and special guests throughout the tour.
Flipper is currently composed of Ted Falconi, Steve DePace, Rachel Thoele, and David Yow. Formed in 1979 by Will Shatter, the band heavily influenced grunge and noise rock that inspired bands such as Nirvana and The Melvins. Flipper reunited in 2005 after a 10-year break following the death of bass player John Dougherty and legal issues regarding the rights fir Flipper’s music.
Flipper will be doing nine shows ahead of their Till The Wheels Fall Off world tour, most of which are alongside Fletcher from The Garden as the guest vocalist. The Flipper with Fletcher show at The Roxy in West Hollywood is said to include guest appearances from members of Paramore and Fidlar.
