Mandy Moore is back with a new album entitled In Real Life, set to be released on May 13th. The album is accompanied by a promotional tour across the United States and includes one stop in Los Angeles, California at the Fonda Theatre on July 22nd.
The singer-songwriter and actress is most recognized by her 1999 debut album So Real, which received a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. She has also received major recognition for her starring role as Jamie Sullivan in A Walk to Remember. She’s also known to be a political advocate for women’s rights, black lives matter and support for a criminal justice reform.
The multi-talented artist has been praised by music critics for branching out and writing her own music. Moore has repeatedly stated that she is inspired by major artists such as Sir James Paul McCarthy, Harry Nilsson and Joni Mitchell.
Moore now brings new music to fans with a new album entitled In Real Life, following her 2020 album Silver Landings, the first release in over a decade. Moore has teased the album with the release of the title track, opening a new chapter for Moore’s music career. The album is set to be an 11-track album centralized in the aspirations for the future, but also celebrates the present.
