Alison Wonderland Announces New Album Loner For May, Shares New Single “New Day”

Alison Wonderland unveiled her new track, “New Day,” ahead of her upcoming album Loner. The album will be released May 6.

The new track shows Alison finally falling in love with life and her future through an acoustic and illuminating journey. The video for the newly-released song opens up with the words “Once Upon A Time In Wonderland…” showing Alison in a Western-themed costume traveling across the desert blindfolded on a horse. After encountering a ninja of some sort, Alison unleashes her supernatural powers of laser-eye vision, and beautifies the rest of the deserted land.

“My life was going a certain way before something pulled everything out from under me,” she said. “It left me entirely alone, and it all happened around the same time as COVID. I felt like I had hit my rock bottom.”

Alison previously released tracks “FUCK U LOVE U” and “Fear of Dying” from the album. Loneris Alison’s acceptance of the things in her life she cannot change.

“I realized that I have always seen myself as the victim of my story,” she explains. “This time, something shifted in me,

“For me, Loner felt like a rebirth,” she continued. “I owe it to whoever else is out there who was like me, wishing that they had an album like this to empower them to feel less alone and know that it’s all going to be okay one day.”
