Post-rock band Godspeed You! Black Emperor debuted their first album All Lights Fucked On The Hairy Amp Drooling in 1994 with only 33 copies released according to Stereogum. Now the once cassette has been resurfaced via a .mp3 file thanks to an anonymous user on /mu/, 4chan’s music message board.

Fans and sources aren’t 100% positive the 24 track leak is even real but it does feature what sounds like remastered versions of “Random Luvly Moncton Blue(s)” and “Dadmomdaddy”, two prominent tracks that resurfaced in 2013. The Canadian band may or may not be aware of the leak or may not even care but them only producing 33 copies meant that it was only for 33 lucky people. For that reason it can be considered a long lost treasure. After all, this isn’t the first time their tracks have allegedly resurfaced, with the first time on Reddit. It can also be considered a lost treasure because the demo tape resembles a style far removed from present-day Godspeed. The tape is like a time capsule in a sense.

The band are set to tour this year internationally, from Europe to North America, according to mxdwn, and will be having a show right in Los Angeles at the Belasco in March.
