Archer Oh is a new wave indie surf rock band from Moreno Valley, California. Originally, it was formed as a solo project in 2015 by Arturo “Archer” Medrano. As Medrano asked friends for help with percussions and guitar, it evolved into a band with four members in 2017. The group was quick to enchant the Inland Empire with their garage rock sound and backyard concerts.
The band is composed of lead vocalist and guitarist Archer Medrano, guitarist Diego Jacuinde, bassist Juan Cabrera, and drummer Pedro Hernandez. The group has charmed many followers not only with their feel-good music but also their positive attitudes and silly personalities. The band has toured with the indie rock band The Red Pears and has performed at the Teragram Ballroom alongside the Tijuana Panthers, Tropa Magica, and Not From England.

Now, they perform shows at the Glass House in Pomona, California, and headlined at The Smell in Downtown LA. In October 2020, Archer Oh was featured on a charity compilation album by My Grito Industries in which all proceeds benefited No Us Without You LA, a non-profit aimed at providing food security for undocumented workers. This year, the band is rumored to be working on a new album.
The album will follow the band’s latest EP entitled Dianthus. Though the EP only consists of three tracks, it is jam-packed with passion and tremendous vibes. It is evident in every song that Archer Oh composes with their heart and soul as the passion seeps through every lyric and small music note. The band takes pride in the community they have created through the fun atmosphere they carry in which people can relate to one another and bond through the emotional sentiments embedded in their music.
Archer Oh will be performing on Sunday, December 19th at Viva Music Fest at the Glass House in Pomona, California. Their music is available for streaming on all platforms including YouTube, Spotify, and iTunes.
