Liam Gallagher has announced his latest solo album C’MON YOU KNOW, set to be released on May 27. The LP is Gallagher’s third solo effort and follows 2019’s Why Me? Why Not. In a recent interview with Radio X, Gallagher revealed that the first single is called “Better Days” with another song called “I Wish I Had More Power” that is dedicated to Liam’s estranged brother and bandmate, Noel. “It’s a naughty little tune, but it’s lovely,” Gallagher explained.
He also announced a huge show at Knebworth on June 4, 2022, commemorating the 25th anniversary of Oasis’ record-setting show at the same venue in 1996, in which a documentary will be released on the performance. The band performed for over 250,000 people. “I’m absolutely buzzing to announce that on June 4, 2022 I’ll be playing Knebworth Park,” he wrote on social media. “It’s gonna be biblical. C’mon You Know. LG x”
Earlier this year, Noel stated that he would be open to reuniting Oasis for 100 million pounds after a rumor had spread that he was offered that amount to do so. In an interview with Jonathan Ross, he stated. “There isn’t £100 million in the music business – between all of us! If anybody wants to offer me £100 million now, I’ll say it now, I’ll do it. I’ll do it for £100 million. Ludicrous. What is funny though is that I think Liam actually believes it, which is the funny thing.”
