Winnetka Bowling League release “pulp” another track from their upcoming EP that will be out this fall via RCA Records. They will also be going on tour with tickets now available to be sold.
Winnetka Bowling League will be starting the tour on November 3 in Colorado Springs, CO at The Black Sheep and ends on December 7 in Philadelphia, PA at Foundry at the Fillmore.
Matthew Koma explains the story behind “pulp”: “’pulp’ was a real life recap of a trip I took when I was 18 to Scranton PA. I got on this Martz Trailways bus and sat next to this girl who was a few years older than me and dressed really cool. We talked the whole trip and she played me Belle & Sebastian for the first time. I fell in love with her and she told me she liked girls. “
Koma says about getting back on the road: “Like most bands during the pandemic, we did our best to connect via live streams, etc. but it simply doesn’t compare to playing in a room, with real people, in real time. We’re beyond excited to get back to botching our own songs live and stressing over ticket counts. There’s just some anxieties the internet can’t duplicate.“
