New Order and Pet Shop Boys to perform at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center during their 2022 Unity Tour

New Order and the Pet Shop Boys will visit Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on September, 23rd 2022. Tickets are available on Ticketmaster and range from $59.00-$1,381.00. Doors for the show open at 6:00PM, and the show begins at 7:00PM.

Both New Order and the Pet Shop Boys were part of the 1980s British synth-pop scene, and helped popularize the genre internationally.

New Order formed in 1980 after the dissolution of Joy Division following the death of Ian Curtis. Although the band initially existed in the shadow of its iconic post-punk predecessor, New Order quickly established a new, more electronic sound that exploded during the 1980s New York club scene.

The Pet Shop Boys formed in 1981 and are one of the most influential and successful dance-pop artists of the 1980s. They have been nominated for fifteen Billboard Music awards, seven Grammys, and eleven Brit awards, winning ‘best British single’ and ‘best British group’ in 1987.

The joint Unity Tour was announced by the Pet Shop Boys and New Order in February 2020, but had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The tour will begin in September 2022 and features two NYC shows 一 September 23rd show at the Barclays Center, and a September 28th show at Madison Square Garden

If you want a chance to see two of the most iconic 1980s group perform together, this is a tour you’ll want to check out.
