Korn Postpone Show Following Jonathan Davis Testing Positive for COVID

Just a few days after announcing that one member of the Korn camp has been tested positive for COVID-19, the band announced today that frontman Jonathan Davis has also tested positive for the virus. Following this announcement the band postponed and canceled some upcoming shows of their tour. The band is currently hitting the road with Staind.

On August 14th, the band first shared the news that due to one of ther crew members falling ill, they had to postpone their show in Scranton, PA. They announced the news via their social media accounts. You can see their Instagram post below.

Today, August 16th, the band yet again shared sad news via their Instagram when they announced their frontman tested positive as well.

In their newest post, the band is also updating their fans on Davis’ current health. “Jonathan’s spirits are high, and he’s resting and recovering now,” the nu-metal band writes. “We’re as disappointed as you are about the circumstances, but we’ll get through it though, and we can’t wait to see you once we’re back, firing on all cylinders once again.“

The band also shared their new tour dates, after they had to postpone a few upcoming shows. Here are the dates for the postponed shows, according to the band:

8/14 – Scranton, PA moving to 9/25
8/17 – Wantagh, NY moving to 9/28
8/18 – Holmdel, NJ moving to 9/26
8/20 – Hartford, CT moving to 10/02
8/21 – Mansfield, MA moving to 10/01
8/22 – Gilford, NH moving to 10/03

The show in Darien Center, NY on August 24th, and the one in Syracuse, NY on August 25th are canceled.

The band is currently on tour with Suicidal Tendencies’ bassist Ra Diaz, as replacement for longtime bassist Fieldy, who’s currently taking a hiatus from the band due to personal reasons.
