Insomniac Presents Exchange LA’s Grand Re-Opening with Vini Vici 6/25 and Wax Motif 6/26

Electronic Dance Music production company Insomniac have curated two weekends of incredible dance music acts to celebrate the grand re-opening of famed Los Angeles Nightclubs Exchange LA and Academy LA. These DTLA and Hollywood nightlife destinations are open for hosting full-scale events for the first time in over 15 months, and will host world-class electronic dance music DJs and performers in the coming days. The weekend will culminate in SoCal’s hottest daytime soiree, Day Trip at the Patio at Academy LA. DTLA’s vibrant nightclub, Exchange LA will host progressive EDM duo Vini Vici, aka Aviram Saharai and Matan Kadosh on June 25, and Australian DJ and producer, Wax Motif on June 26.

Duo Vini Vici formed with an intention to express their love for the old school electronic dance sound, paired with progressive ideas. Their Psytrance sound has turned heads with catchy collaborative singles including anthem “Great Spirit,” a collaboration with Armin Van Buuren & Hilight Tribe, and dancefloor dominator “Chakra,” a collaboration with W&W. Their new hypnotic single “Come Close” with Neelix is set to be released June 25.

Wax Motif (aka Danny Chien) rang in 2021 with a performance at Insomniac’s Park ‘N Rave series. Chen is most known for his contributions to the G-House electronic music genre. The Australian-born LA-based artist characterizes his music as “gangtsa” or “ghetto” house (808 and 909 drum-machine driven tracks paired with often sexually explicit lyrics) with his own influences taken from r&b, disco and UK bass. His upcoming album Hard Street is being teased with single “All Black Everything,” in which he teamed up with artists Corrupt (UK) and MC Scrufizzer for this first single.
