Oscar and Grammy Award Winner H.E.R. is set to play her first-ever concerts with The LA Phil at The Hollywood Bowl on August 13 and August 14, 2021. The singer and multi-instrumentalist will partner with conductor Gustavo Dudamel and The LA Phil for two special concerts with the support of a full orchestra.

H.E.R. aka Gabriella Sarmiento Wilson, started performing as a young child under her given name, and stepped into the spotlight in 2017 under the moniker H.E.R. Her self-titled debut was nominated for the Grammy Award for Album of the Year, and won Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Album. Her sophomore album, I Used to Know Her, was nominated for five Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year for “Hard Place.” She has since become one of the vital artists of our time for her ability to voice the struggle of Black Americans with songs like the 2020 Grammy Song of the Year “I Can’t Breathe” and “Fight for You,” which won the 2021 Oscar for Best Original Song.
