Catch Thundercat and Friends at The Shrine Expo Hall 11/27/21

Recent Grammy winner and bassist extraordinaire Thundercat recently announced a Fall 2021 North American tour, which will include a stop at Los Angeles’ Shrine Expo Hall on Saturday, November 27. Tickets just went on sale today, June 11 at 10:00 am. This tour is in support of his 2020 album, It Is What It Is, which won the Grammy in 2020 for the Best Progressive R&B album. This month will also see Thundercat perform alongside friend and frequent collaborator Flying Lotus at the Hollywood Bowl on June 12, a performance dedicated to essential and front-line workers.

Thundercat is the project of bassist and singer, Stephen Bruner. He released his fourth studio album It Is What It Is, in April 2020, following the release of lead single “King of the Hill.” The new album is dedicated to the late Mac Miller, his friend and frequent collaborator. The multi-instrumental artist is also associated with powerhouse acts like Kendrick Lamar, Flying Lotus, Erykah Badu and more. He has performed on major late night TV programs including the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and the Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
