Alt/indie rock group Bully recently announced a US tour in support of last year’s album release Sugaregg. The band will headline an all-ages show at the Lodge Room on Saturday, September 11, with special guest Lightning Bug, who’s upcoming album A Color of the Sky is set for release on June 25 via Fat Possum.

Bully initially began as a trio in 2013 out of Nashville, but is now the solo project of guitarist and singer Alicia Bognanno. Bully’s discography includes four albums, and she signed to Sup Pop for her junior album Losing. Sugaregg was released on August 21, 2020, and is the first solo release for Bognanno. Mxdwn reviewer Brittany Pratt shared the following thoughts in her album review of Sugaregg: “For an alt-rock, punk rock record to thoroughly explore complex themes in a cohesive structure is nearly unprecedented and most definitely commendable. This is a must-listen for any fan longing for the golden-age of alt-rock or simply anybody who could use a bit of closure.” Bully also released stunning covers of Nirvana’s “About a Girl” and Orville Peck’s “Turn to Hate” in May 2020.

The tour has already begun to sell out at several venues, so be sure to grab your tickets quickly as this show is sure to sell out!

Location: The Lodge Room
