Chain Fest is back with a new date and throwback lineup featuring Jimmy Eat World, Taking Back Sunday, Circa Survive and more. The fest was initially scheduled to take place in 2020 but has been pushed back a third time now due to Covid-19. The fest will now take place at the FivePoint Amphitheatre on Saturday, October 23, 2021.
Jimmy Eat World recently kicked off their virtual Phoenix Sessions, which will highlight their albums Clarity, Futures and Surviving over three days in January and February. Chain Fest will also feature Circa Survive playing songs from Blue Sky Noise, Saves The Day playing their greatest hits, Glassjaw playing songs from Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Silence, and Cartel playing songs from Chroma. Additionally, Anberlin and Acceptance are also on the bill.
Chain Fest was initially scheduled to take place on May 23, 2020, was then pushed back to October 17, 2020 and then May 29, 2021 and now has a new date. The festival released the following statement on Twitter: “After a long year we couldn’t be more excited to be back and ready to rock with you on October 23rd.”
