Mexican singer/songwriter Pancho Barraza is heading on tour this year after postponing his tour earlier this year due to Covid-19. The Pancho Barraza Los Angeles show at Microsoft Theater was originally scheduled for Saturday, February 27, 2021 has been rescheduled to Saturday, August 21, 2021. Doors open at 7:00 pm and the show begins a 8:00 pm.
Pancho Barraza, aka Francisco Javier Barraza Rodríguez, is best known for his regional Mexican music after he moved to Mazatlán and performed with the brass bands Banda San Sebastian, Banda Camino and later as the lead singer of Banda Los Recoditos. He made his solo debut in 1995 with his breakthrough album Mis Canciones De Amor, recorded along with Banda Santa María, thus beginning his successful chart topping career as a renowned singer-songwriter of regional Mexican music. Songs like “Mi Enemigo El Amor” have amassed nearly 135 million streams on Spotify. Additional popular songs include “Pero La Recuerdo” and “Ignoraste Mis Lagrimas,” which have tens of thousands of Spotify streams.
