After having to postpone his 2020 North American tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic, former Pink Floyd frontman and all-around prog rock legend Roger Waters has announced the new 2022 touring dates for his This Is Not A Drill tour. The tour starts in July 2022, and will stop in Los Angeles at the Staples Center for two performances, September 27 and 28, 2022. Ticket holders for the previously announced 2020 tour dates will receive an email with further information. Fans are encouraged to hold onto their original tickets as they will be valid for the new 2022 dates. There are rumors flying around that this may be your last chance to see Roger Waters on tour, so you won’t want to miss out! The shows promise to include several songs from Pink Floyd’s golden era in addition to some new ones to encapsulate both the love and frustration with which Waters refers to our home planet.

Waters shared the following message about his upcoming performances in an Instagram post: “This Is Not A Drill is a ground breaking new rock and roll/cinematic extravaganza, performed in the round, it is a stunning indictment of the corporate dystopia in which we all struggle to survive, and a call to action to LOVE, PROTECT and SHARE our precious and precarious planet home. The show includes a dozen great songs from PINK FLOYD’S GOLDEN ERA along side several new ones, words and music, same writer, same heart, same soul, same man. Could be his last hurrah. Wow! My first farewell tour! Don’t miss it. Love R.”
