Concerts In Your Car Presents Ziggy Marley Tribute to Bob Marley at Ventura County Fairgrounds 4/17

Multi-Grammy Award-winning artist Ziggy Marley and his band will perform two sets on April 17 at the Ventura County Fairgrounds, where he’ll be paying tribute to his father Bob Marley’s reggae legacy. This drive-in concert will host Marley twice in one day with a 5:00pm and 8:30pm performance. The show will include a visual light show, multi-media entertainment and a video screens. The combination of an extra high 360 degree stage and screens will ensure a good viewing experience for everyone.

It’s no surprise that Marley turned out to be a reggae star just like his father. He’s been making music since he was a kid, leading the family band Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers which produced eight albums total, leading to his solo career. His children’s album Family Time featured superstar guests including Paul Simon, Willie Nelson and Jack Johnson and won a Grammy Award for Best Musical Album for Children. His latest album More Family Time also features his family members and another lineup of superstar guest artists including Sheryl Crow, Lisa Loeb, Tom Morello, Busta Rhymes, Alanis Morissette, his brother, Stephen Marley, and actress Jamie Lee Curtis who reads sections of her new children’s book.

This live, drive-in performance will include some of Bob Marley’s most iconic music with Ziggy’s greatest hits mixed in along the way. Grab your friends and load up the car for this safe drive-in concert experience.
