A Night of Death Metal With Nile at the OC Observatory 10/25/21

Death metal rockers Nile are known for their epic performances, and will be bringing their fury to the OC Observatory on October 25, 2021. The band initially announced a tour in 2020 following the release of their latest studio album, but the tour was postponed due to Covid-19.

Nile are known for their technical/brutal death metal sound with lyrical and musical styles inspired by Egyptology and works of H.P. Lovecraft. Since their formation in 1993, the band has released nine studio albums, two compilations, three extended plays, two demos, three singles and five music videos. Their latest studio album, Vile Nilotic Rites, was released on November 1, 2019 through Nuclear Blast.

Nile’s current lineup consists of Karl Sanders (guitars, vocals), George Kollias (drums), Brad Parris (bass, vocals) and Brian Kingsland (guitars, vocals). Their unique sound takes a symphonic approach to songwriting and arrangement, fusing technical death metal with organic Middle Eastern tones. Their lyrics feature Sanders’ interpretation of ancient Egyptian inscriptions, temple carvings, papyri, hieroglyphics and tomb paintings depicting ancient battles, rituals and religious ceremonies. Each consecutive album has demonstrated the band’s musical evolution, and their heavy, palpitating sounds have won over fans and critics. Grab your tickets and catch an epic performance from this death metal act at the OC Observatory.
