The Black Crowes are reuniting after a 14 year live performance hiatus to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of their debut album, Shake Your Money Maker. The International tour begins this summer, and they’re bringing the celebration to The Forum in Los Angeles on August 19, 2021. They’ll be performing Shake Your Money Maker in its’ entirety plus all the great hits they’re known for.
Brothers Chris and Rich Robinson formed the Black Crowes in the mid-’80s and became internationally known with the release of Shake Your Money Maker in 1990. The album hit number four in the US charts and became multi-platinum. Their success continued with a string of chart-topping albums including The Southen Harmony and Musical Companion, Amorica and Three Snakes and One Charm. The group disbanded in the early ’00s, but are now ready to make a comeback.
In their early years, The Black Crowes toured with rock legends including AC/DC, Robert Plant and Aerosmith. Their first Rolling Stone cover story retold a firsthand account of the band notoriously being kicked off the ZZ Top tour for their anti-establishment, anti-corporate rants on stage. The band of brothers are pulling their act together for this tour, so grab your tickets and experience these rock ‘n roll legends firsthand!
