Megadeth, Lamb of God, Trivium and In Flames on heading on an international tour this summer called “The Metal Tour of the Year.” After postponing both their summer and fall tour legs due to Covid-19, they have announced that the tour is back on for 2021 and unveiled a 42-date tour. The tour will stop in Irvine at the FivePoint Amphitheater on September 1, 2021.
All four bands shared the following statement regarding the tour: “We are excited to share the new 2021 dates for the Metal Tour of the Year. All tickets from the summer and fall legs of the tour will be honored for the new rescheduled dates in 2021. If you are a ticket holder and cannot make the new show, you will receive an email directly allowing you to request a refund. For more details, please visit livenation.com/refund. We can’t wait to get back on stage and get this tour kicked off.”
Lamb of God is fresh off their self titled release, and Megadeth should have a new album coming out in 2021 as well. To give their fans a taste of what’s to come, Megadeth, Lamb of God and Trivium held a live stream event to coincide with the launch date of their cancelled tour, where they showed prerecorded footage from past live concerts.
