Catch the nostalgic, triple-threat act that is The Happy Together Tour live at the Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa on July 18, 2021. The tour will span across the US this July, starting in Mississippi and finishing in Tennessee. The Happy Together Tour will feature the biggest line-up of ’60s groups yet with the iconic group The Turtles, whose infamous 1967 number one hit “Happy Together” gives this tour its name. They’re joined by other stalwarts of the decade such as The Association and The Cowsills. Also on the bill are Chuck Negron formerly Of Three Dog Night, The Association, the Vogues, and Mark Lindsay. This tour was initially scheduled to take place in 2020, but has been pushed back one year due to Covid-19.
Led by vocalists Howard Kaylan and Mark Volman, The Turtles are bringing their feel-good ’60s songs including “She’d Rather Be With Me” and “You Know What I Mean” to the show. Post Turtles, the duo have been making music as Flo & Eddie, recording albums with the Mothers, appearing in Frank Zappa’s film 200 Motels in 1971 and later releasing a series of records on their own.
If 2021 needs anything, it’s to get “Happy Together,” so grab your tickets and get ready to groove along to some feel-good, retro sounds this summer!
