Tribute shows can be a lot of fun and allow us to imagine what it was like to experience some of our favorite rock ‘n roll legends in the flesh. Brit Floyd are bringing the greatness of Pink Floyd to major arenas around the world with performances in Europe and the US. They’ll be bringing their incredible soundscape to the stunning outdoor Greek Theatre on June 19, 2021. The tour was initially scheduled to run in 2020, but has been delayed one year due to Covid-19.
The Pink Floyd tribute band formed in 2011 in Liverpool, United Kingdom by brainchild Damian Darlington, who was previously part of The Australian Pink Floyd Show. Brit Floyd believes God is in the details with a perfected show that includes arena style lighting and a “coherent, emotional journey through Pink Floyd’s catalog.” Since their formation, Brit Floyd have toured extensively, often featuring Pink Floyd studio and touring members including bass player and vocalist Guy Pratt and saxophonist and rhythm guitarist Scott Page. Their 2016 tour included an epic performance of the 24-minute song “Echoes,” so prepare yourself for a show-stopping set filled with all of your Pink Floyd favorites and state of the art production.
