Canadian rockers Silverstein are embarking on their 20 Year Anniversary Tour this fall and will be stopping at the House of Blues in Anaheim on November 20, 2021. The initial performance was set for 2020, but has been rescheduled several times now due to Covid-19. The band is also celebrating the release of their new album, A Beautiful Place To Drown, and will perform three sets each night: a career-spanning batch of fan favorites, a stripped-down acoustic section, and their seminal 2005 full-length, Discovering The Waterfront, in full.
In a statement on the band’s webpage, Silverstein shared, “Unfortunately we have to reschedule our 20th Anniversary Tour dates again. This is the 4th time and believe me, we are as frustrated as you are, but hopefully by November we will be in the clear and we can do it up properly. Your original tickets are still valid for the shows, but refunds are available if you can’t make the new dates or can’t wait that long. The reason we haven’t cancelled the shows and refunded everyone is because many of these shows are sold out, and we don’t want our biggest fans to miss out on the shows when they were the first ones to buy tickets originally. We are still performing 3 sets – Greatest Hits, Discovering The Waterfront in full and Acoustic. This is the longest show we have ever done, and we’re bringing the most production to really set this off.”
The band consisting of lead vocalist Shane Told, lead guitarist Neil Boshart, rhythm guitarist Josh Bradford, bassist Billy Hamilton and drummer Paul Koehler formed in 2020 and have ten studio albums, four EPs, a compilation album and a live DVD/CD. They’ve also toured consistently since 2005 performing at major festivals like Vans Warped Tour. Grab your tickets and celebrate 20 years of Silverstein!
