American rock band Trapt’s upcoming show in Dallas, Texas has now been canceled. According to the PRP, the venue issued a statement regarding the cancellation, stating “Due to reasons beyond our knowledge, the Trapt show has been canceled. All tickets will be refunded to the point of purchase. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
The band’s lead singer Chris Taylor Brown took to Twitter to fully explain the reason for the canceled show. “So @trees in Dallas caved to threats to employees by a few of the under 100 social justice warriors who bitched about trapt in Dallas & who are also absolute sheep brainwashed by mainstream media. What a shame. Next Dallas show for Dallas Proud Boys & LE! POYB! See you SJWs there.”

Earlier this year, the lead singer was involved in another Twitter beef with rapper Ice-T. After responding to fan’s tweets comparing Trapt and Body Count. Ice-T responded with what Brown classified as a threat, which Brown then claimed Twitter users and Ice-T were increasing Trapt’s streaming numbers. The band had also performed alongside Smash Mouth for The 80th annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally took place in August in Sturgis, South Dakota, amidst the pandemic.
