Catch Indie Duo Ohmme Live at Zebulon 1/22/21

Indie rock duo Ohmme are heading on tour in January 2021 in support of their latest release Fantasize Your Ghost. They’ll be stopping at Los Angeles’ Zebulon on January 22, 2021. Chicago artist V.V. Lightbody will accompany Ohmme on tour.

Ohmme formed in 2014 in Chicago by singers and songwriters Sima Cunningham and Macie Stewart. Their experimental indie sounds have won over fans and made a splash both in their Chicago hometown and internationally since they’ve toured extensively beginning in 2016. Along with drummer Matt Carroll, the band have toured with notable artists including Jeff Tweedy of Wilco, Iron & Wine, The Joy Formidable, Tortoise, and The Ophelias. They’ve also contributed sounds and vocals to artists like Chance the Rapper, Thor Harris, Richard Thompson, Twin Peaks, Ken Vandermark, V.V. Lightbody (Vivian McConnell), and Whitney. Ohmme have two full-length albums Parts and their most recent Fantasize Your Ghost along with a self-titled EP.

Fantasize Your Ghost has been described as an “imperfect but exciting interpretation of indie pop” as described by mxdwn reviewer Matthew Jordan. There’s no doubt that Ohmme’s blend of art pop, experimental sounds and jazz have helped shape a sound that’s uniquely their own. Grab your tickets to their headlining performance in the intimate Zebulon venue and experience a style that’s utterly intoxicating.
