See Icelandic Rockers Kaleo Live at The Novo 7/13/21

Icelandic rock band Kaleo are heading on a North American tour in 2021 and will be stopping in Los Angeles at the Novo on July 13, 2021. To make the deal sweeter, every order of two or more tickets purchased includes one physical or digital copy of their soon to be announced album. You will receive a separate email after ticket purchase with instructions on how to redeem your album within seven days after ticket purchase.

Kaleo formed at Mosfellsbær in 2012 and consists of lead vocalist and guitarist JJ Julius Son, drummer David Antonsson, bassist Daniel Kristjansson, and lead guitarist Rubin Pollock. Together, they have released two studio albums including their self-titled debut Kaleo and 2016’s A/B as well as an EP, Glasshouse. They have a new album coming out on Christmas Day of this year, Surface Sounds. Lead singles “I Want More” and “Break My Baby” were released in January of this year.

The group blends indie and alternative rock with fold and blues sounds. In a Rolling Stone interview, Frontman JJ Julius Son said, “Growing up I was listening to a lot of American music and Blues artists and such and that was what kind of connected us.” They completely sold out their first U.S. headline tour and have performed at major U.S. festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo. They were also selected to open for rock legends the Rolling Stones.
