Glasgow-based rock band The Fratellis are heading on a UK and US tour early next year, and will be making at stop at the Fonda Theatre on January 16, 2021. To accommodate even more fans during the Covid-19 pandemic, they will be broadcasting a special streamed, full band show in early November. All those who have bought a tour ticket or pre-ordered an album from The Fratellis Official Store will be given the opportunity to secure free access to the stream. The Fratellis released their first album Costello Music in 2006. It charted at No. 2 in the UK Album Chart with over one million sales and received much critical acclaim, with the band winning the “Best British Breakthrough Act” award at the 2007 BRIT Awards. Their second album Here We Stand received further acclaim and won them “Best British Band” at the 33rd Silver Clef Awards that year. In total, the band has five studio albums, with their upcoming release Drunk Under a Half Moon coming out in January 2021. The new album was initially scheduled for a 2020 release, but has been pushed back along with the tour due to Covid-19. Singles “Six Days In June” and “Strangers In the Street” featuring P.P. Arnold are available on streaming sites.
