See Swedish Death Metal Pioneers Dark Tranquility Live at the City National Grove of Anaheim 10/1/21

Swedish death metal pioneers Dark Tranquility are heading on an international tour in early 2021 in support of their upcoming release Moment out via Century Media on November 20. The first single “Phantom Days” is available to listen to via streaming sites. They’ll be stopping at the City National Grove of Anaheim on October 1, 2021 as part of their tour.

Dark Tranquility are considered one of the pioneers of death metal in their hometown of Gothenburg, Sweden. The group consists of Niklas Sundin, Martin Henriksson, Anders Jivarp, Martin Brändström and Mikael Stanne. Their debut album Skydancer was released nearly 20 years ago, and since then they’ve experienced success with albums like Projector, which received a Swedish Grammy Award nomination in 1999, Damage Done, which saw the band’s first appearance on the Swedish album charts at No. 29, followed by Character which saw huge commercial success and peaked at No. 3. Their signature growling vocals and death metal sound is often accompanied by pianos and baritone soft vocals. Despite several lineup changes over the years, Dark Tranquility have experienced long term success out of the Gothenburg metal scene. Moment will be their 12th studio album, and there’s surely more to come from these Swedish death metal pioneers!

Celebrate 20+ years of Dark Tranquility next October at the City National Grove of Anaheim!
