See Welsh Pop-Punk Band Neck Deep Live at The Novo 11/14/20

Welsh pop-punk outfit Neck Deep are heading on an international tour this fall and are scheduled to make a stop at The Novo in Los Angeles on November 14, 2020. The tour follows the release of their fourth studio album album All Distortions Are Intentional, out on July 24th, 2020. The band embarked on a summer tour in 2019 with Blink-182, possibly the biggest name in pop-punk, but are stepping into the spotlight this year with their 2020 headlining tour.

Neck Deep formed in 2012 by founding members Ben Barlow (vocals) and Llyod Roberts (guitar). After releasing a pair of EPs, the band took a more full-time approach to Neck Deep and released their first studio album Wishful Thinking in 2014 via Hopeless records. Their current lineup consists of Ben Barlow (lead vocals), Sam Bowden (lead guitar), Matt West (rhythm guitar), Seb Barlow (bass) and Dani Washington (drums).

Their latest release All Distortions Are Intentional tells the story of a loner named Jett, who lives in fictitious place called Sonderland, a combination of “Wonderland” and the somewhat obscure word “sonder”: the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own, with their own ambitions and worries, as the event site explains. “It’s that strange existential realization that you are not the entire world,” says singer Ben Barlow. “Everyone around you feels and lives the same way that you do. You’re just an extra in their story.” The album was produced by Matt Squire Grammy nominated A-list producer Matt Squire (Panic! At The Disco, Underøath, Ariana Grande, One Direction).
