Electro-pop artist VÉRITÉ is coming to The Roxy on February 24, 2021. She was already on an international headlining tour in when Covid-19 hit and she had to cancel the remainder of her sold out show. VÉRITÉ has since taken this time in quarantine to write new music and released “Younger Women,” a single off her upcoming new EP, New Limbs Vol. 1. The new EP is said to be an experiment of uncertainty, much like the times we are currently living in.
VÉRITÉ aka Kelsey Regina Byrne started writing music at the age of 16. She launched her songwriting career with indie-pop gems like “Weekend” and “Strange Enough,” which caught the ears of some major publications. Her viral debut single “Strange Enough” made waves on Twitter, and reached number one on Hype Machine. Her early EPs were received well by critics, and her success has continued to grow since then as she’s taken the stage at numerous festivals including Lollapalooza, SXSW, Brooklyn Bowl and more. Currently, Byrne has five EPs and two studio albums under her belt, with another EP on the way this year. New Limbs Vol. 1 is scheduled to be released on October 9, 2020 via digital download.
