Experience Pop Stars PVRIS Live at the Fonda Theatre 5/6/21

What started as a metalcore/post-hardcore project later turned into an eclectic electro-pop outfit, garnering a completely different but growing fan base. Pop stars PVRIS (pronounced Paris) initially scheduled a US tour following the release of their 2020 album Use Me. However, like most artists who had scheduled 2020 tours, their tour dates have been pushed to 2021. They will make a stop at the Fonda Theatre on May 6, 2021.

In a recent interview with mxdwn, front woman Lynn Gunn shared about postponing the release of PVRIS’ latest album Use Me in order to amplify the Black Lives Matter movement and face her physical health issues. It’s clear that Gunn has truly stepped into her own and isn’t afraid to take more credit for the darker, alt-pop sound that has surfaced for the band. Together with founding member Brian MacDonald, the band now has three studio albums under their belt. PVRIS have been recognized as Artist of the Year, receiving multiple awards from 2015-2018. They’ve toured and performed at major arenas with the likes of Fall Out Boy, Muse and 30 Seconds To Mars, and performed at major festivals including Coachella and Lollapalooza. Watch PVRIS take the spotlight on their 2021 tour and grab your tickets to see them at The Fonda in May!
