Put on your finest black for Part Time Punks and Spaceland’s a night of dark wave with She Past Away live at The Regent Theater on September 16, 2020. The Turkish band is known for their industrial/post-punk/dark wave/goth sound and look, and released a new album of remixes this year, X. This show is less than a month away, but so far the date has still stuck and tickets are available to see them live at The Regent! If you’re a fan of The Cure, Joy Division and goth dance clubs, this show will be right up your alley.
She Past Away formed in 2006 and consist of members Volkan Caner (vocals/guitars) and İdris Akbulut (bass). Currently, the lineup is still Caner on vocals and guitar and Doruk Öztürkcan on synths. Together, they have four studio albums under their belt along with an EP. Their latest 2020 release features remixes of like-minded bands such as The Soft Moon, Lebanon Hanover and Boy Harsher. Their previous release Disko Anksiyete came out just a year before in 2019, so it’s clear that She Past Away are continuing to produce the dark sounds that have garnered them goth fans around the world.
